Unearthly Challenge 2009! Big Giant Doom Lasers ahoy!

Eep...3D is getting no love in my DA journal, which is crazy because its most of what I do all day!

Well, here's the lastest:

I'm basically a one-man (well, girl) team, with ~BaneMoo as advisor and some-time concept artist (he's gainfully employed, so doesn't have enough free time to do much more than that - which is fine as its all more experience for me ~mwahahaha!!~ )

I've been working pretty solidly on my doom laser project for about just over 2 weeks now I think? (which is why I keep uploading random concept work for it). However, on Friday I had a brainwave which meant I ended up entirely re-designing the room the laser was in! So last weekend was spent desperately trying to catch up on modelling (I wanted to have the modelling *finished* by last weekend, not just getting started >.<; ).

So far the room is all blocked out and I'm in the middle of making the model of the main laser itself. I'm off on a pre-arranged holiday for 4 days from this Friday to next Monday so I'm going to be working like the clappers to get all the modelling and UV mapping done before I go >.<;

If I can do that then I'll approx. 2 weeks to texture and light the damn thing - this is going to be a close one! Wish me luck!
